Hello. My name is Tom Doolan and I am a
Democrat running for U.S. Representative in the
Florida 5th Congressional District. The reasons
that I have for running are many. I believe in the
American political system. I believe in our
democratic form of government and the concept of
fairness and equality to all citizens. I believe in the
democratic society that is the core of this country.
I believe in the fundamental greatness of the
American people.

Key Issues
The current state of the economy is abysmal. The cost
of goods and services continues to rise faster than our
paychecks. What retirement many of us have has
shrunk drastically with the decline of the stock market.
Major corporations and financial houses that we
thought symbolized stability have come crashing down.
Our homes are worth less, people are losing their jobs,
and many people are desperate. Learn more about
